Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched the latest phase of the ISO Quality Management System Accreditation project as an important part of its long-term work strategy to enhance its position locally, regionally and internationally.
QRCS, in a statement yesterday, referred to the efforts of its officials and its various sectors in the framework of the responsibility placed on them, and in view of the importance it attaches to the Qatari humanitarian action system, which seeks to adopt and implement the best quality standards in order to enhance the work efficiency, improve human resources and raise the level of satisfaction and loyalty of beneficiaries and partners, which is consistent with Qatar National Vision 2030.
QRCS Secretary-General Ali bin Hassan al-Hammadi, said in his speech that QRCS was able to fulfil many of the standard requirements within this project.
He pointed out that the launch of the last phase of the quality management system accreditation aims to obtain the ISO certification under the supervision of the QRCS Strategic Management Office, where regulatory and legal requirements and operational risks are being finalised in various areas and placed within an internationally recognised standard framework.
He noted that the launch of this project coincides with the challenges facing the humanitarian sector around the world in general and in the region in particular.
