S. Korea offers high-level talks with N. Korea next month
Seoul, December 29 (QNA) – South Korea on Monday proposed minister-level talks with North Korea on a range of issues, to prepare for a “peaceful unification”.
South Korea’s Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae said his government sent a fax message to the North offering dialogue in January on pending inter-Korean issues. The recipient is Kim Yang-gon, director of the North’s United Front Department in charge of South Korea affairs, South Korea’s news agency (Yonhap) reported.
