Doha: HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), has launched a Facebook page recently. A note on the page said that “The official account of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser is run by her office.”
The verified page has two posts on behalf of Her Highness. The first one, posted on March 5, shows a small video clip of Sheikha Moza attending an event organized by Education Above All Foundation and UNESCO, where she gave a very powerful speech urging the world leaders to come together to make sure no kids os left out of the classroom.
A message is also posted along with the shirt video in both English and Arabic which reads: “At a joint event between Education Above All Foundation and UNESCO, Her Highness called on the international community to place education at the heart of human development and keep it accessible despite political differences. She also urged for school to become safe haven, especially in areas of conflict.”
The last post is from a private visit to Morocco when Her Highness visited a private primary school in the city of Fez. There are many photos showing her with the students of the school.
The post reads: “During a private visit to Morocco, Her Highness visited the Lalla Aicha private primary school in the city of Fez. The school was founded in 1946 and inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Aicha, who oversaw the inauguration and establishment of several educational institutions and schools for teaching girls across the country.”
