Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels celebrates Garangao night with children
Packed evening programme of fun and festivities in the heart of Souq Waqif organized by Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels
Doha – 21 June 2016 (WQ): Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH) celebrated Garangao night, the age-old annual Qatari tradition on the 14th night of Ramadan. Sheer delight was on the faces of children and guests who attended the event at Al Jomrok Boutique Hotel, where SWBH held a festive evening to celebrate this important part of their Qatari heritage in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
SWBH joined festivities with the management of Souq Waqif and distributed copious gifts to all kids through allocated Garangao booths organized by the Souq’q management.

The eventful Garangao night at SWBH included clown shows and entertainment activities, as well as face painting, henna patterns, gift giveaways and a special themed booth for photo opportunity.
Welcomed by SWBH employees, a large number of children poured in wearing their traditional clothes, singing the Garangao traditional songs and happily smiling.
