HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with HE Mr. Hussein Al-Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian arena, in addition to regional and international developments.
During the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm position in support of the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, adherence to international legitimacy, relevant Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative as a basis for achieving a just and sustainable peace that guarantees the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. .
