Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misned, Minister of Social Development and Family, met with a number of Their Excellencies Arab Ministers of Social Development Affairs, on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, which concluded in Doha today.

Her Excellency met with His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Her Excellency Mrs. Wafaa Abu Bakr Muhammad Al-Kilani, Minister of Social Affairs of the State of Libya, Her Excellency Mrs. Awatif Hiyar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family in the Kingdom of Morocco, and Her Excellency Mrs. Kawthar Kreiko, Minister of Solidarity Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Women’s Issues in Algeria, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Said Hassan Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of the Republic of Yemen, and Her Excellency Mrs. Safia Intah, Minister of Social Work, Childhood and Family of the Republic of Mauritania.
On the sidelines of the session, His Excellency the Minister of Social Development and the Family met with His Excellency Mrs. Olofah Ismail Abdo, Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Djibouti, His Excellency Mrs. Wafaa Saeed Yaqoub Bani Mustafa, Minister of Social Development of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Excellency Mr. Peggy Iman Ajiyeh, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Federal Somalia, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Abd al-Salam Hassan Majdalani, Minister of Social Development of the State of Palestine, and His Excellency Ms. Loup Yaqut Othman, Minister of Health, Solidarity and Social Protection of the Republic of the Comoros.
The meetings dealt with prospects for joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Arab countries in the field of social affairs, family and women, as well as the most important topics on the agenda of the session.
During the meetings, Their Excellencies the ministers praised the achievements made by the State of Qatar in the field of social development, expressing their great confidence in its success in achieving a quantum leap in joint Arab social action during its presidency of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs.
