If The Pearl-Qatar is the epitome of luxury in Qatar, the Marsa Malaz Kempinski, the newest addition on the man-made island, would be the jewel in its crown.
As you approach the Kempinski, you are blown away just by the size of the hotel. Then there is the 18-metre bronze sculpture of a horse, sculpted by Doha-based Iraqi artist Ahmed al Bahrani, strategically placed at the entrance. As you draw closer to the hotel, its enormity and the intricacy of detail it carries, become apparent.
The hotel is patronized by a large number of Qataris, who are known to take pleasure in refined luxury, which the hotel offers in abundance.
