Under the kind patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, witnessed the tenth annual celebration of the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency, Tarsheed, under the slogan “Towards Sustainability and Energy Efficiency,” which was organized by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha this morning.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the State and senior officials from various sectors.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored the companies and winners of the first places in Tarsheed competitions in its tenth edition.
His Excellency had toured the exhibition accompanying the celebration, during which he was briefed on the winning projects, paintings and short stories and participation in the various Tarsheed competitions, in addition to the Tarsheed Project 2022 pavilion.
During the ceremony, a short film entitled Towards Sustainability and Energy Efficiency was shown to keep Qatar alive, on Tarsheed’s achievements during the ten years.
