International Dates Exhibition 2019
Aiming to meet the surge in demand for dates during Ramadan, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has organised an international dates exhibition ahead of the holy month where local and international exhibitors will showcase different varieties of dates.
Dates and date products will be showcased by 150 exhibitors including 89 local and 59 foreign companies for producing, supplying and selling dates from ten countries.

Georgian National Ballet
Cultural Village Foundation – Katara in cooperation with the Emabassy of Georgia in Qatar presents the Georgian National Ballet “Sukhishvili.”
The National ballet is one of the cultural jewels of Georgia which brings together traditional Georgian folk dance, classical ballet and modern dance elements.
The event is for free and children below the age of 6 are not allowed to attend the event.

Mersad Berber Exhibition
Katara presents the art exhibition for the late prominent Bosnian artist Mersad Berber.
With a wide range of artworks by the late artist, the exhibition reflects the rich heritage and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its beautiful nature.
The 28 exhibited paintings document some major turning points and events in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina such as the Serbian conflict, the Bosnians and Ottomans in addition to other paintings that showcase the beauty of the Bosnian horses which the artist adored such as “Horse Head” and the “Horses of Bosnia.”

IAAF Diamond League
The IAAF Diamond League will take place at the state-of-the-art Khalifa International Stadium on May 3. The event includes long jump, pole vault and 100m hurdles.
The participants for this year’s event are Caterine Ibarguen, Tianna Bartoletta, Brianna McNeal and Sam Kendricks from the United States, Great Britain’s Shara Proctor, Australia’s Brooke Strattonand Sally Pearson, Thiago Braz from Brazil, Jamaica’s Danielle Williams and many more.

Spring Bazaar
Entertainment World Village is organising a spring bazaar which will host vendors from all over the world selling local and traditional arts and crafts, food and beverages. Apart from the bazaar, children and adults can also enjoy the new rides the theme park has to offer.

Khadi Exhibition at VCUarts
The Fashion Promotion Class at VCUarts Qatar, in collaboration with the Embassy of India, Doha, will be holding an exhibition on the versatile fabric khadi, as part of Qatar – India 2019 Year of Culture.
The students from the graphic design and fashion design programs at VCUarts Qatar has rebranded khadi, the cloth of India, as a special class project.
The textile is becoming popular with young designers from across India and the rest of South Asia because it is sustainable, environmentally friendly, robust, and adaptable.
