Quite a few fun activities are happening this weekend in Qatar. We have shortlisted a few of the interesting ones for you.
Breath and Life Exhibition
The ancient traditional Chinese medicine is featured at “Breath and Life” exhibition.
The exhibition features paintings that dates back to 3,000 years, showcasing some of the most famous experts in Chinese medicine.
Visitors to the gallery have a chance to get free diagnosis from Chinese experts in this field of medicine using traditional methods.

Children of Qatar Supporting the Nation
Qatar based photojournalist Bosco Menezes will be showcasing pictures of children expressing their support to the country and Emir at an exhibition held in The Torch Doha.
The pictures of children, clicked during the blockade and Ramadan car parade, can be collected by the respective families from the exhibition.

Falcon and Henna Painting
In celebration of the Eid Al Fitr festivities, Doha Festival City is hosting an event for women and girls of all ages to get henna applied by professional artists.
The other guests and visitors will also be able to get their photo taken with the royal falcon, the national bird of Qatar.

Pottery Barn Kids Presents: Little Explorers – Sea Otters
Pottery Barn Kids in Mall of Qatar and Doha Festival city will be hosting monthly Little Explorer Events, where children can learn about nature while having fun.
The event will showcase a fun facts presentation, creative with a hands-on craft activity – making a paper otter, colouring, quizzes and more for the Little Explorers.
All Little Explorers will receive an Otter class participation certificate as well as an Otter button badge.
All children must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.

The Night to Time your Best
In celebration of Global Running Day, Westin Doha Hotel & Spa have organised an evening of themed running events with Olympic legend Liz McColgan.
The event consists of various races for children and teens from the ages of 5 years to 17 years, such as:
15min Fun Run for children: Age 5 – 12
Bannister Mile for young adults: Age 13 – 17
Westin Fastest Kid: Age 5 – 9, 10 – 13, and 14 – 17
McColgan 5K for young adults: 13 – 17

Qatar-German Exhibition: ‘Arab and German Tales – Transcending Cultures’
The exhibition,which is organized within the framework of the Qatar–Germany Year of Culture, provides an insight into the history of Arabic and German fairy and folk tales, and how the two traditions influenced each other.
In this exhibition, unique masterpieces from antiquity to the present day are presented for the first time together, including stories of the Arabian Nights, the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, and samples of the original Arabic handwriting of the famous German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The exhibition also includes rare Egyptian tales written on papyri, such as the Story of Sinuhe, dating from the XII dynasty (approximately 1900 years BCE) and much more.
The exhibition is open to all without registration.
