UAE tops millennials’ wish list of global work locations, survey finds

The United Arab Emirates is the number one emerging market destination for professional fulfilment, a World Economic Forum survey released on Sunday has found.
The “Global Shapers Annual Survey 2015” revealed that the UAE was the top worldwide emerging markets destination for career advancement among the millennial generation.
Survey respondents came from 125 countries and were all 20-30 years old from the World Economic Forum’s ‘Global Shapers Community’ – a “network of over 450 city-based hubs of young, civically engaged leaders,” according to the Forum.
“By choosing the United Arab Emirates as the top emerging-markets destination, millennials are selecting a country that is very serious about professional advancement,” said Head of the Global Shapers Community Yemi Babington-Ashaye.
