| Riyadh: Saudi national Mohammed bin Aqla bi Mahilan Al-Sharari was executed in Al-Joof for smuggling a large quantity of amphetamine pills.
The criminal court convicted the defendant, who confessed to the crime, and sentenced him to capital punishment. The Saudi Court of Appeals and the High Court both upheld the death sentence. |
