The business magazine Forbes has just released their list of the top-earning supermodels in the world right now with some names coming as a bit of a surprise, quite a few newcomers and some of the more well-established names cropping up again. These figures are based on their contracts for cosmetics, fragrances and other endorsement deals that bring in the cash.

 Jasmine Tookes – $4 million

A newcomer to the list, Jasmine signed on as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015, and this combined with lucrative deals with Lancome and Calvin Klein make up most of her earnings. The 25-year-old American model was discovered when her mother, a celebrity stylist, took her along to one of her appointments and now she is raking in the big bucks.

Barbara Palvin – $4 million

Another newbie on the high-earners list, Barbara is a Hungarian-born model who has campaigns for L’Oreal Paris, Chanel Beauty and Vince Camuto but it is the three different scents that use her face that draw in the most cash as she has been seeing spraying on Cartier De Lune, Giorgio Armani Di Gioia and Lagerfeld Private Club.

Taylor Hill – $4 million

Another Victoria’s Secret model who is climbing the money ladder, Taylor also advertises for Lancome and Michael Kors watches as well as the iconic shoe brands, Jimmy Choos and Miu Miu all adding up to a pretty sweet payday.

Lily Aldridge – $4 million

Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger have all used Lily to front their respective campaigns and the Victoria’s Secret Model was also seen sporting the $2 million fantasy bra last year making her a highly sought after talent.

Joan Smalls – $4.5 million

One of the most prolific catwalk models on this list, these runway shows don’t actually add much to the Puerto Rican beauty’s overall value which predominantly comes from contracts with Estee Lauder, Balmain, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, J. Crew, Gap and Joe Fresh.

Doutzen Kroes – $5 million

A mainstay of the high earners, Dutch Doutzen has her own line of cashmere sweaters to her name but is also the face of Tiffany & Co. as well as having a L’Oreals cosmetics contract.

Alessandra Ambrosio – $5 million

With a rumored 7 figure Victoria’s Secret contract to her name, Ms. Ambrosio is also the face for L’Oreal products and Michael Kors whilst maintaining her own line of swimwear and clothing and temporary tattoos.

Kate Moss – $5 million

The ultimate name in modeling, Kate Moss remains a top earner at the age of 42 thanks to David Yurman and Burberry advertisements which makes her the oldest model on this list. Considering she first worked for Rimmel London 15 years ago, it is astonishing she is still part of their marketing also.

Natalia Vodianova – $5.5 million

The lingerie makers Etam helped boost the Russian stunner’s ranking as she also pulls in deals with the likes of Guerlain’s cosmetics and fragrance departments and Calvin Klein fragrances.

Lara Stone – $5.5 million

Discovered on the Paris Metro at the age of just 12, the Dutch supermodel is now 20 years older and millions of dollars richer as she works with Tom Ford, DKNY, Stella McCartney and L’Oreal cosmetics.

Miranda Kerr – $6 million

The Austsupermodelermidel didn’t get the year off to a great start when replaced by Karlie Kloss as the face of Swarovski diamonds but we doubt she will be too distraught as Wonderbra and Escada are still using her services as well as Kora Organics and Royal Albert glassware.

Liu Wen – $7 million

With contracts from La Perla and Estee Lauder making up the most of her cash flow, Liu Wen is China’s first supermodel and supplements these deals with Asia-exclusive contracts for Vidal Sassoon and Puma whilst global marketing for Mango and H&M also top up the kitty.

Candice Swanepoel – $7 million

A South African Victoria’s Secret Angel with contracts with Max Factor and Biotherm, she also endorses Versace and Givenchy fragrances.

Cara Delevigne – $8.5 million

Dropping from No.2 last year, the model now focuses mainly on her acting career so is bringing in less from modeling contracts. Her star power, however, is still a big draw and Tag Heuer watches and Yves Saint Laurent Beauty still use her image to sell their wares whilst Burberry fragrances also want in on the action.

Gigi Hadid – $9 million

For a newcomer to the list to be so high up is simply astounding but Gigi Hadid has converted her social media following into sales with Maybelline and Tommy Hilfiger jumping on the bandwagon alongside Evian, BMW, Topshop and Versace. Not bad at the tender age of 21.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – $9 million

With her own lines of lingerie, make-up and fragrances, you’d be forgiven for thinking Rosie need not work for anyone else (and she probably doesn’t have to) but that doesn’t stop her from picking up very lucrative deals with Marks and Spencer’s and Burberry.

Kendall Jenner – $10 million

Dubbed as ‘not a real super model’ by some in the industry, Kendall won’t mind as long as the paychecks keep rolling in as her massive online following has contributed to deals with Estee Lauder, Topshop, Mango, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Topshop and Penshoppe.

Karlie Koss – $10 million

With more endorsement deals than any other model on the list, Karlie Kloss has doubled her earnings since leaving Victoria’s Secret last year with Express, L’Oreal and Swarovski all signing her up to promote their brands and Carolina Herrera and Coco Chanel wanting her for their fragrances.

Adrianna Lima – $10.5 million

Working with Victoria’s Secret for over 15 years now, Adrianna is the longest-serving Angel in their history and earns an improved deal due to her seniority. Maybelline, Vogue and IWC all contribute to the pension fund of the Brazilian bombshell.

Gisele Bundchen – $30.5 million

Streaks ahead of all others on this list, she recently took a turn at the Olympic opening ceremony in Rio where she advertises for Sky TV. She also has deals with Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Pantene and Arezzo shoes and her own line of lingerie and skin care products.
