Besides juicing, I love to drink green tea. In Chinese medicine, tea is recommended to help counteract the damage caused by toxic foods like greasy foods. Researchers at the University of North Carolina studied the effects of tea and heart disease and found that drinking tea can attacking reduce heart attack risk by 11%.

L-theanin is an amino acid which helps with stress. Stress is a deadly disease and it often leads to many aliments. A stress free life is possible and has many advantages. L-theanin is found to by involved with the formation of gamma amino butyric acid (GABA) which stimulates dopamine and serotonin levels. Remember dopamine and serotonin levels are associated with being “happy” and low dopamine levels are linked to Parkinson’s disease.
