His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired the second meeting of the Council for the year 2022, which was held at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir, Vice President of the Council, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Executive Member of the Council, and Their Excellencies the members of the Council participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the decisions and recommendations of the first meeting were reviewed, as well as the project follow-up report. The Council also reviewed the report on the progress of the state’s economic priorities and took the appropriate decisions in this regard.
The Council also reviewed the presentation on the agriculture, animal and fish production sector, the communications and information technology sector, in addition to the presentation related to the approvals of licensing requirements and commercial practices, the developments of the Qatar Financial Center, and the developments of Qatar Energy and the Qatar Investment Authority.
The topics on its agenda were also discussed, and appropriate decisions were taken.
