Engineer Mohamed Al-Atwan, director of Stadium 974, said that there are many options available for fans to reach the stadium, noting that walking paths have been built linking the main fans area on the Corniche with the World Cup stadium.
During a telephone interview with the Doha World Program on Qatar Radio, Eng. Al-Atwan explained that fans can easily reach Stadium 974 through the available means of transportation, as there is a metro station only 600 meters away as a walking distance, which is one of the most important options during the tournament.

He added: The stadium connects to a major road network through the Ras Abu Aboud area, in addition to the buses available to transport fans from the external stops to the loading and disembarkation area.
Al-Atwan noted that Stadium 974 will host 7 World Cup matches, 6 of which are in the group stage, starting with the match between Mexico and Poland on November 22, and the group stage matches will continue until December 2, when the first six matches will end with the match between Switzerland and Serbia. In front of the seventh and final match at the stadium will be in the round of 16.

It is worth noting that the Doha Corniche area will witness many special events during the World Cup, most notably the FIFA Festival, which will start on November 19, a day before the whistle of the opening match of the tournament, to include entertainment areas and dazzling shows, and a capacity of 40,000 spectators.
Doha Corniche will also include large numbers of kiosks with restaurants, cafes and entertainment areas, and 4 large theaters where some shows and parties will be held, and many artists and talents will be present.
