MOI Delivers E-Passport Public Key to ICAO
Doha, March 02 (QNA) – A delegation from the Ministry of Interior has delivered public keys of Qatari e-passports to upload in Public Keys Directory (PKD) system of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The move comes as a continuation of the development plans of Qatari e-passport aimed at improving and enhancing electronic and direct verification of passport biometric data and facilitate passage of e-passport holders through border control points of PKD participants, the Ministry of Interior said Monday in a press release.
