* Trevor Noah, Omid Djalili, Nemr and Hamad al-Amari set to have Doha audiences in stitches with acts this month and in August

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Doha Comedy Festival with performances by world-renowned comedian Trevor Noah, Omid Djalili and Arab stand-ups Nemr and Hamad al-Amari, it has been announced.
Organised by the Social Studio, Doha Comedy Festival is supported by Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) as part of the ‘Summer in Qatar’ programme.
The Comedy Festival will include two events, one in July and another in August.
This year’s festival features crossover comedians, who perform in English but bring their unique worldviews to the stage. ‘Daily Show’ host Noah kicks off the festivities on July 12, returning to Doha’s stage after a sold-out performance in 2017.
Combining the East and West are British-Iranian Djalili and Lebanese-American Nemr, who will perform alongside Qatar’s own al-Amari on August 15.
All shows will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
Tickets range in price from QR175 to QR475 and can be purchased online from here.
Live music concerts and comedy shows are all part of the entertainment schedule of SiQ, which offers a rich array of cultural performances and family-friendly entertainment, a press statement notes.
SiQ boasts of a lineup of shows, movie premieres and promotions on travel, hospitality and shopping options for the whole family.
