Sheikh Joaan honours Emir’s sons at annual camel racing
HE the President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani honoured the winners of the main races on the seventh day of Annual Camel Racing Festival at Shahaniya Racecourse on Sunday.
HE Sheikh Joaan awarded HE Sheikh Hamad bin Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and HE Sheikh Jassim bin Tamim bin Hamad al Thani the Golden Spear and the Golden Daggers as the Shahaniya Camels claimed the titles in three races out of the four held.
The races were held in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum and the chairman of race organising committee HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Faisal al Thani.
