Doha, December 17 (QNA) – The State of Qatar will celebrate tomorrow (Thursday) the National Day which is marked on December 18 every year.
While celebrating this glorious occasion, Qatar recalls the achievements of the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammad bin Thani, who devoted his knowledge, efforts and cleverness to lay down the foundations of the modern state at a time when the region was experiencing a state of conflicts, unrest and instability due to competition between the colonial powers at that time.
