His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his brother, His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the sisterly Republic of Turkey, chaired the meeting of the ninth session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee, held at Lusail Palace yesterday.
At the beginning of the session, His Highness the Emir welcomed His Excellency the Turkish President and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in Qatar, and for the strategic relations between the two countries to further develop and grow in various fields, in a A way that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. His Highness praised the level of Qatari-Turkish cooperation in vital fields, especially in the sectors of investment, trade, tourism and culture.
For his part, His Excellency the Turkish President expressed his thanks to His Highness the Emir for the warm reception and generous hospitality. His Excellency looked forward to the discussions with His Highness contributing to strengthening and developing strategic cooperation between Qatar and Turkey, hoping that the discussions would push the strategic relations between the two countries to broader horizons.
