Happy Journey beats Dukhan Ballers to lift title
Doha – Happy Journey Travel Batangas Team pulled off a convincing win against Dukhan Ballers 83-60 during the championship round of the Division 2 of Pinoy Basketball of Qatar (Pibaq) Ambassador Cup 2015 held at Al Gharafa Training Gym.
The winning team received a cash prize of QR6,000, a champion shirt, individual gold medals and a champion crown (7.8kg and 85cm height).
Jersey no. 7 Eric Tamayo, contributing 14 points to Happy Journey’s sweet victory, was named the Most Valuable Player.
Philippine Ambassador to Qatar HE Wilfredo Santos and Pibaq President Pat Carido honoured him on the occasion.
