His Highness and the President of the Emirates discuss strengthening brotherly relations and Gulf action

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, held an official discussion session at the Emiri Diwan today.
At the beginning of the session, His Highness the Emir welcomed his brother, the President of the United Arab Emirates, and the accompanying delegation, and His Highness expressed his congratulations to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the 51st National Day of the UAE, hoping that this visit would contribute to the development of joint cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries. And push it to broader levels, according to the Amiri Diwan.

For his part, the President of the UAE expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir for the warm reception and generous hospitality, expressing his congratulations on Qatar’s hosting of the ongoing FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and he also praised Qatar’s exceptional success in organizing and hosting this world championship.
During the talks, they discussed the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to support and consolidate them in various fields, especially with regard to strengthening the bonds of brotherly cooperation for the good and interest of the two brotherly peoples, in addition to strengthening joint Gulf action.
The developments of events on the regional and international arenas were also reviewed, and views were exchanged on a number of current issues of common concern.
The talks were attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs and ministers.
On the Emirati side, it was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the accompanying delegation.
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, held a lunch banquet in honor of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and his accompanying delegation.
His Highness the President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates had arrived at the Amiri Diwan earlier, where an official reception ceremony was held for His Highness.
