His Highness and the Tajik President discuss strengthening relations

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received His Excellency President Emomali Rahmon, President of the friendly Republic of Tajikistan, yesterday, on the occasion of his visit to the country to attend the conclusion of the His Highness the Emir’s Sword Equestrian Festival. During the interview, bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, and ways to develop and enhance them in various areas of cooperation. The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies and senior officials, and on the Tajik side, Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Excellency the President. His Excellency President Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, left Doha yesterday evening, after a visit to the country. Upon his departure from Hamad International Airport, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were bid farewell by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, and His Excellency Mr. Khosrow Sahibzadeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar. His Excellency President Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, arrived in Doha yesterday morning, on a visit to the country.
Upon its arrival at Hamad International Airport, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, and His Excellency Mr. Khosrow Sahibzadeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar.
