H H the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Istanbul this evening, on a working visit to the sisterly Republic of Turkey, during which he, with his brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chaired the meeting of the eighth session of the Qatari-Turkish Higher Strategic Committee.
The eighth session will deal with ways of consolidating the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries in various fields, exchanging views on regional and international issues of common interest, in addition to signing a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding.
