His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, this morning performed the rain prayer with the crowds of worshipers in the Al-Wajbah prayer hall, in commemoration of the Sunnah of the Noble Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and a request for the descent of rain.

The prayer was also performed by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the personal representative of the Emir, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, and His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The prayer was also performed by HE Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, and a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers and Citizens.
