His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received the credentials of six new ambassadors to the country in his office at the Emiri Diwan yesterday morning.
His Highness received the credentials of His Excellency Mr. Elaine Pérez Torres, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, His Excellency Mr. Ali Salehabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Mr. Ioannis Ioannidis, Ambassador of the Republic of Greece, His Excellency Mr. Wong Zhao Ming, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, and His Excellency Mr. Marcelo Esteban Girona Morales, Ambassador. Eastern Republic of Uruguay, and His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Habib Owaisi, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania.
His Highness the Emir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions, and the relations between the State of Qatar and their countries further development and growth.
For their part, Their Excellencies the ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the greetings of the leaders of their countries, and their wishes to the Qatari people for continued progress and prosperity.
An official reception ceremony was held for Their Excellencies the Ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
