His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received, in his office at the Emiri Diwan yesterday morning, their Excellencies the heads of the legislative councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab Parliament, on the occasion of their visit to the country , to attend the seventeenth regular meeting of the heads of the Shura Councils and the Representatives. And the National and Nation of the Arab Gulf States, which was held yesterday.
During the interview, a number of topics on the meeting agenda were discussed.
In this regard, His Highness the Emir expressed his wishes for success in their meeting and achieving the desired results in a way that enhances the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, His Excellency Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and a number of senior officials.
