His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received, in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning, His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Yaqoub Mujahid, Minister of Defense in the Afghan caretaker government.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan, the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
During the meeting, His Highness the Amir stressed the importance of working towards achieving stability and national reconciliation in Afghanistan, achieving a decent life, progress and prosperity for the Afghan people, and ensuring that all segments of society enjoy their rights.
