The Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), a charitable organisation operating under the aegis of the Indian embassy, is organising its 39th free medial camp for fishermen/workers in association with the Ministry of Public Health.
The camp will be held at Allevia Medical Center from 7.30am-11.30am tomorrow.
It will be supported by Telangana Gulf Samithi — Qatar (TGS-Qatar).
Indian ambassador P Kumaran released the flyer of the event along with ICBF managing committee members and TGS representatives.
The ICBF free medical camp is aimed at providing free medical assistance to workers/labourers from various labour camps and companies in Doha and the Industrial Area, apart from the fishermen community in Al Wakrah, according to a press statement from ICBF. A team of dedicated doctors and paramedics from Allevia Medical Center will volunteer for the medical camp.
Wellcare Group will be providing pharmaceutical support. Student volunteers have been roped in to create social awareness among the student community to support the initiative.
Spot registrations have been arranged on the camp day for those who would like to attend. The medical camp will be inaugurated by Kumaran. Indian embassy help desk and Labour section representatives will be present at the location to attend to the workers’ concerns and their queries.
