The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah announced that its fighters are engaging in clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers who have infiltrated the town of Maroun al-Ras from the eastern side, and are inflicting several casualties among them.
The resistance confirmed that the clashes are still ongoing in the town, in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, noting that its fighters bombed the “Amiad” base at 1:00 pm with a large missile salvo, and achieved a direct hit.
Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that many occupation soldiers were injured opposite Maroun al-Ras. The correspondent said that the Israeli forces “may be facing a difficult event similar to what happened in Adaisseh this morning,” adding: “We have observed new Israeli mobilizations opposite the town of Adaisseh.”
The Lebanese army announced that “an Israeli enemy force withdrew from the Blue Line after penetrating it 400 meters into Lebanese territory, in the areas of Khirbet Yaroun and Bab Adaisseh.”
This comes after a tight ambush carried out in the town of Adaisseh at dawn today by elite forces of the occupation soldiers who were trying to infiltrate the town of Adaisseh from the direction of Khallet Al-Mahafer, and forced them to retreat. This was the first attempt by Israeli forces to penetrate southern Lebanon since the Israeli occupation “army” announced, at midnight Monday-Tuesday, the start of a ground operation in southern Lebanon.

Israeli media reported that two soldiers were killed, including Major Eitan Oster, a commander in the Egoz unit of the commando division, and 18 were wounded during clashes with Hezbollah fighters on the border with Lebanon, following a violent exchange of fire between the Radwan Force and Israeli forces on the border, coinciding with the ambush in which they were caught, which they described as “very difficult.”
At least four helicopters were forced to evacuate the casualties, while helicopters and tanks carried out attacks in the area to cover the Israeli forces, due to the heavy artillery shelling carried out by Hezbollah.
Since the early morning hours, the resistance has targeted all the Israeli occupation gatherings from the Galilee finger to the western Galilee along the border with occupied Palestine. It also announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation forces and their artillery positions south of the settlement of “Kiryat Shmona” with a salvo of rockets, achieving confirmed hits.
In parallel, sirens went off in a number of settlements in the Galilee, fearing the infiltration of a drone, in Yaron, Shtula, Zarit, Shomera, Even Menachem, Avdon, Hanita, Yaara, Kabri, Imedit, Arab al-Aramshe, and in Kiryat Shmona and its surroundings. They also sounded in Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Motzkin in northern Haifa.
