This was notified by the ministry in a tweet that the Al Khor coastal Road, Al Wakra Road and Al Rafa Street will have mobile cameras, wherein motorists will be under watch for speeding in these areas, as reported by The Peninsula.
Furthermore, the ministry also pointed out that it will announce if there would be any other mobile cameras installed on other roads and streets in Qatar on its social media page.
It is pertinent to mention here that one mobile radar which looks like a trash bin in Dubai had caught 35,000 speeding violations on internal roads of Dubai.
The radar, which is placed in random locations, has sparked a debate on social media, with motorists complaining of getting speeding fines repeatedly, the report says.
Many people took to social media to complain of being fined by the radar. One resident said he was fined Dh820.
