People Flock to Witness Qatar National Day at Katara
Large number of people from different walks of life witnessed the exciting and enthralling programmes organised by Cultural Village Foundation – Katara on Qatar National Day on Friday. The two-day celebration kicked off by Dr HE Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, the General Manager of Katara by opening a Cultural Village at Katara Esplanade.
Qatar National Day celebrations that featured more than 48 events was in association with different institutions, authorities and associations in Qatar.
Military parade by the Emiri Guard at Katara Esplanade was key attraction of event on the first day of the celebration.
Senior officials in the Emir Guard headed the 50 member’s musical band and 24 members’ artillery and a cavalry of 12 members followed them. Hundreds people lined up at the both side of Katara Esplanade greeted parade by waving their hands and raising slogans showing pride of their country and its great leadership.
