Stephan Weil, prime minister of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, Germany, was accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising German government officials and corporate leaders during the visits to Qatar Foundation and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently.
As part of the delegation’s visit to the Researchery, representatives were given a tour of Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute’s core labs to learn about the university’s commitment to building an integrated, cutting-edge teaching and research environment, while leveraging synergies with local and international partners to build capacity in Qatar and globally.
Home to the world’s largest automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen AG, Lower Saxony maintains longstanding and positive ties with Qatar.
