Qatar-Bahrain railway to run high-speed trains: Maliki
Doha – Passenger trains will run at a speed of 350 kilometres per hour on the proposed rail route between Qatar and Bahrain.
Qatar Rail Long Distance Project Director Abdulrahman Ali al Malik told Qatar Tribune that the rail route will be an integral part of the proposed causeway between Qatar and Bahrain.
Speaking on the sidelines of an international rail conference, Malik explained that various technical studies are under way for the construction of the railway line.
