Qatar plans on smart, next generation stadiums
Qatar will soon have world-class smart stadiums that will transform the experience of watching and attending sporting events.
Ooredoo chief new business officer Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani said that the stadiums will deploy the latest technology and the power of the Ooredoo Supernet to ensure fans enjoy every minute of a match.
During the keynote speech, at the Soccerex Global Convention 2015 held in England, Sheikh Nasser dazzled the foreign audience by claiming that one will be able to purchase tickets, snacks and memorabilia by using their mobile phones.
They could also connect with their loved ones back home via voice, text and video.
It will be the first technology-supercharged World Cup in history.
