Qatar moving in the right direction to host 2022 World Cup: Thawadi
Hassan al Thawadi, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) announced that external campaigns aimed at questioning the rights of Qatar in hosting the 2022 World Cup football will fail and stressed that the country was moving in the right direction towards achieving an amazing organisation of the sporting extravaganza.
Thawadi’s made the statement at a press conference held by the committee on Tuesday which marked the fifth anniversary of winning the hosting rights of the World Cup for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab and West Asia region.
