ABU DHABI // Ways to strengthen relations between the UAE and Qatar were discussed in the capital on Thursday.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of Qatar, met in Abu Dhabi to exchange views on regional and international developments.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hosted a luncheon in the Qatari emir’s honour, reported Wam, the state news agency.
Also in attendance were Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, National Security Adviser; Ali Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohammed saw Sheikh Tamim off to his presidential flight at the end of his visit.
