HE the Speaker of Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud left the Republic of Kazakhstan yesterday for Doha.
The Shura Council Speaker and his accompanying delegation were seen upon their departure at Nursultan International Airport by Kazakhstan Majilis Deputy Chairman Vladimir Bozhkov and Qatar’s charge d’affaires to Kazakhstan Ahmed Saad Hazeem al-Sulaiti.
The Shura Council Speaker participated in the fourth meeting of Speakers of the Eurasian countries’ parliaments “Greater Eurasia”, which lasted for several days.
Participants in the meeting hailed at a closing session the success and positive results of the 140th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) which was held in Qatar from April 6-10.
