Souq Waqif to hold two-week festival in April
Souq Waqif has announced that it will hold a festival in April that will include shows, live painting, amusement park games and workshops.
The festival is scheduled to run from April 4 – 18. The festival will run from 4pm to 10pm daily. Stay tuned for a detailed schedule of events.
It is being held during this period so that residents and tourists can enjoy the festival and souq’s offerings during the mid-term break from schools, director Mohammed Al Salem said, according to QNA.
According to Al Salem, there will be an amusement park consisting of several games for adults and children, including an express train, bumper cars and a ship ride.
