HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud yesterday met a delegation from the US Congress, including Representative for New York Sean Maloney, Representative for Washington Rick Larsen and Representative for California Nanette Barragan. During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic relations between Qatar and the US, and ways of supporting these relations in various fields, in addition to developing the relations between the Shura Council and the US Congress. A number of topics of common interest were also reviewed. The meeting was attended by HE the Chairman of Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand Nasser bin Khalil al-Jaida and a number of Shura Council members.
