Striker Ibrahim back as Qatar picks squad for 2015 Asian Cup
DOHA: Inspirational striker Khalfan Ibrahim has been included in the Qatar squad for next month’s Asian Cup, according to the list named by coach Djamel Belmadi on Monday.
But the 23-man squad does not include striker Sebastian Soria who was also not included for last month’s Gulf Cup.
Ibrahim missed Qatar’s Gulf Cup win in Saudi Arabia last month as the Al Sadd forward was nursing an injury.
