It is raining cats and dogs in Qatar as it was predicted by the Qatar Met Department last week.
According to report filed by Doha News, many shops in the popular Villaggio Mall in Doha had to close down after rain water began to leak into the mall at several places.
The Qatar Meteorology Department had last week announced via its official Twitter account that the chance of rain in the country will reach its peak in the coming weekend.
The Department had tweeted a report according to which the country is expected to be affected by a state of atmospheric instability as a low pressure system extends in the upper level atmosphere beginning 22nd of November, the low pressure system will continue till the end of the month, the report added.
The weather department has warned that offshore areas would witness waves as high as 13 feet during the weather disturbance and urged people to avoid sea activities during the period
