Jacky Sutton: British woman ‘found hanged in Istanbul airport toilets after missing connecting flight’
A British woman was reportedly found hanged in the toilets of a busy airport after missing a connecting flight.
The woman, named locally as Jacqueline Anne Sutton, is thought to have been found dead at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport in the early hours of this morning.
Turkish media reported that the 50-year-old, also known as Jacky, had flown to the country from London and was due to catch a connecting flight to the Iraqi city of Erbil.
The Daily Sabah reported that she was told she would have to buy a new ticket after missing the flight, to which she is said to have replied that she did not have the money. Her body was allegedly found by three Russian passengers.
