Major overhaul works to start soon at Qatar’s Old Airport area
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a major overhaul of the Old Airport’s residential and commercial areas starting this Saturday.
Several interior roads in the area will be converted to main roads with all basic amenities such as pedestrian paths, parking slots and sidewalks.
Some roads will be partially closed for work and could witness traffic congestions in the days to come.
