Many are heading to travel outside the country after most countries of the world lifted Corona restrictions for travel and return, from Corona examinations and quarantine, but the traveler should always review the travel policies and return to his intended final destination.
In this report, the most important procedures for the Corona restrictions imposed in Qatar and the countries to which they are frequently visited:
Saudi Arabia
According to the Saudi Ministry of Health, the procedures for coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Saudi citizens, are not required to submit a negative result for the examination (PCR) or to examine the antigens of the Corona Virus Rapid Antigen Test before coming to the Kingdom.
KUWAIT
: The Kuwaiti Cabinet has canceled all its previous decisions to impose restrictions during the Corona pandemic, and the requirement for a PCR examination for all those coming from abroad, regardless of the state of immunization, was also abolished.
The Sultanate of Oman
In accordance with the latest decisions issued by the Supreme Committee charged with examining a mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Sultanate of Oman, all restrictions imposed on travelers coming to the Sultanate of Oman have been lifted.
Bahrain
The Bahraini authorities decided to cancel the “PCR” examination upon arrival at Bahrain Airport, and Bahrain also decided to cancel the precautionary quarantine.
UAE
Travelers to the UAE must provide a valid vaccination certificate showing that the traveler has been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization or the Emirates and includes a QR code, or submit a valid negative PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours, or submit A valid medical certificate issued by the relevant authorities stating that the traveler has recovered from COVID-19 within one month from the date of recovery until the date of arrival.
Egypt
: All travel restrictions have been lifted for entry to Egypt by those coming from abroad, and the submission of a certificate stating receiving the Corona virus vaccine or submitting a negative result for the PCR examination is not required, in addition to canceling the Antigen Rapid Test to detect the Corona virus.
Jordan
The Jordanian authorities have canceled the requirement to register on the platform designated for travel, before coming to the country, and have also canceled the quarantine and examination procedures (PCR) for those coming to Jordan from the country of arrival.
Morocco
The Moroccan authorities have canceled the requirement to have a negative test for the Corona virus (PCR) for those coming to the Kingdom
Tunisia
The Tunisian authorities decided to exempt travelers over the age of 18 who have completed the vaccination from the compulsory PCR examination, provided that they present a certificate proving that the vaccination has been completed or that the vaccination is permissible, provided that if they have not been vaccinated, they must present a (PCR) certificate 48 hours before travel.
Algeria
Algeria is currently moving to cancel the health passport in order to enter Algeria, with the lifting of all travel restrictions, although it currently requires that vaccinated passengers have a vaccination certificate of no more than 270 days (9 months) before arrival, and a PCR examination for the unvaccinated before 72 hours of travel.
USA The US
authorities have lifted all travel restrictions, and a PCR test is no longer necessary before traveling to any US destination.
The European Union
Most of the European Union countries have lifted travel restrictions related to Corona
Britain
has decided to stop all remaining travel measures related to “Covid”, including the form for locating passengers and examining all arrivals to the United Kingdom.
Turkey
has canceled the requirement for a negative result of the Corona PCR test to be allowed to enter its territory, and the procedure for implementing a rapid test for the Corona virus as a condition for entering the country has also been cancelled.
Thailand
The government in Thailand announced that from July 1, arrivals to the country will have to show a certificate of vaccination or a negative PCR test result, and pre-register online to obtain a health passport and pay an insurance value to cover the costs of possible infection with Corona infection and isolation.
Return to Qatar
The procedures for returning to Qatar are divided into return procedures from all countries of the world and others from the red countries
1- From all countries of the world
PCR examination: Not required
Quarantine:
(a) Vaccines: No quarantine for the vaccinated (those who received two doses of the vaccine that did not pass 9 months after taking the second dose) or those who received the booster dose (and did not take it one year) or Those who have recovered (and they have not recovered for a period of one year).
(B) Those who are not immunized:
5 days of home quarantine
2- From the red countries

Egypt – India – Bangladesh – Nepal – Pakistan – Philippines – Sri Lanka
PCR Examination:
Presenting a certificate of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with a negative result before travelling, valid for (48) hours from the time of departure in the country of arrival
Quarantine:
1- Citizens: home quarantine for 5 days
2- Residents: hotel quarantine for 5 days
