White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt briefed the press on Elon Musk’s security clearance situation which caused a standoff between the DOGE head and USAID officials. Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency on Saturday tried accessing classified documents from the USAID, leading to the suspension of two officials who tried obstructing him. Leavitt also elaborated on the future of USAID.
