The Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) Agriculture Affairs Department has come together with Al Meera stores to promote high quality Qatari vegetables. It aims at marketing local vegetable produce and providing an adequate marketing opportunities to display such products to customers.
A study was conducted to furnish conditions and standards for the marketing of high-quality products. In order to meet the standards the vegetables must be grown at the green houses using sophisticated production methods. The products should be packed in specially-designed, high quality packages
