Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday patronised the graduation ceremony of 212 conscripts who comprise the 10th batch of national service recruits, held at the Amiri Guard Camp.
The Amir honoured excelling national service conscripts Eid Tarif Naji Al Nomasi, who ranked first in the military infantry; Abdulaziz Ali Mohammed Al Obaidli, who won first place in rifle and pistol shooting; and Abdullah Yousef Ashar, who won first place in fitness.
The Amir witnessed a parade by the conscripts on security and riot control. A number of senior military officials attended the ceremony along with commanders of the armed forces and the Ministry of Interior, officers and noncommissioned officers.
