His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the country, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, presided over the first meeting of the Council for the year 2023, which was held at the Council of Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim at the Emiri Diwan this morning.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir, Vice President of the Council, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, executive member of the Council, and Their Excellencies the members, according to the Amiri Diwan.
The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made at the third meeting of the Council for the year 2022, and the project follow-up report. The Council also reviewed the report on the progress of the country’s economic priorities and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.
The Council reviewed offers related to the financial and insurance activities sector, and the health care and social services sector.
The Council also dealt with the topics on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.
